Abscess symptoms can show quite quickly , causing the horse to be in severe pain and will show lameness. There will be heat in the foot and a digital pulse. An abscess is caused by bacteria/moisture/dirt entering into cracks in the hoof wall. They then causes infection and pus to build in the hoof cavity .Our abscess blend is a great oil to have on hand in your first aid kit, as this helps to draw the abscess out. Due to the properties in the blend, this is much quicker than using just a hot poultice on its own. Our blend is specially formulated to draw the abscess out as quickly as possible, as well as it having natural anti fungal, anti inflammatory and antibacterial.
